I'm very pleased to announce four of my recorded lyrics are included on Tim Turner's new CD release, To You, now available for download on ITunes !
Currently I'm just a humble lyricist (though I'm learning to play the guitar and blues harp), but in the near future I hope to be playing my own material (whether I can actually sing remains to be seen lol).
In the meantime, I'm hoping to work with musicians interested in taking my words and bringing them to life. I don't really write for a specific genre, so it's always exciting to hear how a musician interprets one of my lyrics... I have finished collaborations posted here if you care to have a listen to them. If there is anything else you'd like to know, just ask...
Anyway, I'll post new lyrics in my blog from time to time if anyone is interested in collaborating with me...
Too many influences to mention, but they run the gamut in Rock, Alternative, Punk, Blues, Folk, etc. As far as my writing goes, I get inspiration from books, movies, newspapers, TV, politics, religion, philosophy, history, personal experience, etc. - I'm very curious by nature so pretty much anything can inspire my imagination - then I just write and hope to create interesting lyrics.
I have a new song called Learned to Live" which I had a blast doing while learning how to handle my STETSBAR. Check it out and let me know what you think: http://www.projectoverseer.biz/members/86/audio.ph p THanks, AvMo
